Boil Water Notice issued for Elko Water System

The RDEK has issued a Boil Water Notice for the Elko Water System following recent repairs on the pump.

Water intended for drinking, washing fruits or vegetables, making juice or ice, or brushing teeth should be boiled at a rolling boil for at least ONE MINUTE.

The Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until the required lab results are confirmed, which takes several days.

The RDEK will notify the community via its Elko Email Group and on its website once the Boil Water Notice has been lifted.
