The Cranbrook Bucks are back in action tonight (Oct. 2), taking on Sherwood Park Crusaders. They’ll be looking to bounce back after a 4-2 loss to West Kelowna Warriors on Tuesday (Sept. 29).
Bucks had their captain back in the lineup Tuesday (Sept. 29), with Jack McMinn returning from injury.
Head coach Roshen Jaswal says his return brings leadership and experience as the team looks to turn that into results on the ice.
“I think he’s going to take a couple weeks obviously still to get up to speed and but just having his presence back there, I think was very, very noticeable,” said Jaswal.
“And as we get healthier and healthier here, I think it’s going to be fun to see how the group continues to build around those leaders.”
Cranbrook completed two trades this week, sending Luc Trevors to the Okotoks Oilers for forward Ryan Boyce.
On Oct. 1, the Bucks announced they had acquired forward Hunter Ashton from Coquitlam Express in exchange for Matthew Tarlton.
Puck drop is 6:45 p.m. tonight.
In BCHC action, the Kimberley Dynamiters host Quesnel River Rush at Kimberley Civic Centre tonight (Oct. 2).
