Applications are now open for Columbia Valley Local Conservation Fund (CVLCF), for projects proposed by non-profit organizations and Indigenous Nations in participating areas.
The Kootenay Conservation Program (KCP), in partnership with the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) and the Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK), is accepting applications for 2027 projects through the CVLCF and the RDCK Local Conservation Fund (RDCK LCF).
Eligible Columbia Valley areas in the RDEK are G, F and municipalities, shown below.

In the RDCK, projects must be located in Electoral Areas A, D, E, F, or H.
Community groups and individuals may apply in partnership with an eligible organization. Applications are due by 5:30 p.m. on October 30.
Applicants with a new project idea are strongly encouraged to contact KCP’s Program Director before applying to discuss it.
