Beginning today (Sept. 28), motorists in Fernie should expect single-lane alternating traffic on Castle Mountain Road while a contractor completes water and wastewater connections for the Castle Mountain Townhomes development.
Single-lane alternating traffic will be in effect daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Oct. 6.
No work will take place on Sundays or holidays, including Sept. 30 and Oct. 4.
Residents should watch for flaggers and posted signs and expect short delays in both directions.
Driveway access will remain available.
