The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Kootenays is inviting the community to gather in Cranbrook today (Sept. 10) for an event marking World Suicide Prevention Day.
The event, taking place at Rotary Park, will bring community members together to raise awareness about suicide prevention and mental health.
Former Humboldt Broncos coach and crash survivor Chris Beaudry will speak about loss, resilience and mental health advocacy.
