A bear has been spotted in a tree next to the Tourist Information Centre at Elizabeth Lake in Cranbrook.
Seeing a bear in the wild can be memorable, but bears are wild animals, and their behaviour can be unpredictable. Every encounter is different, and no single response can guarantee safety.
