Fire behaviour decreases in Calamity Creek Wildfire says B.C. Wildfire Service

The BC Wildfire Service says fire behaviour and activity for the Calamity Creek wildfire has decreased.

This wildfire is estimated to be 181 hectares and firefighting personnel no longer need to restrict public access to the area.

The area restriction issued for the Calamity Creek area on August 2 has been rescinded.
