Charges of theft, fraud, and break-and-enter have been laid against a woman in Fernie.
Elk Valley RCMP officers responded to a report from a community agency that a woman in Fernie potentially had possession of stolen property.
Mounties attended a property on June 12 and located several items, including stolen ID, drug paraphernalia, and numerous items that appeared to have been stolen from the Fernie area in April 2026.
Police say that through the investigation and evidence collected, it’s alleged the woman was involved in the April 2026 break-and-enter and theft incidents in the West Fernie area.
