Cranbrook has moved up, and we now sit in second place for the ParticipACTION Community Challenge and could win $100,000 towards physical activity.
Communities across Canada have been joining together throughout June to get active, track participation, and compete for the title of Canada’s Most Active Community.
There are over 1500 communities across Canada entered to win.
The ParticipACTION Community Challenge is already halfway through, and the town only sits behind Mayne Island.
Whether you’re walking, biking, swimming, dancing, playing, hiking, or trying something new, your group’s activity counts.
Here is how to participate:
- Sign up online at participaction.com.
- You can register as groups of two or more, as local government, schools, or organizations.
- The group leader will track everyone’s June activity.
The more people who participate and get tracked, the stronger Cranbrook’s chance to win funding for future recreation opportunities right here at home.
The challenge runs all month, so keep entering your activities and participant numbers.
