Fernie motorists travelling on 4A Avenue will see two 4-way stop signs being installed.
The City says that, based on a recent traffic study, they are being set up to reduce speeding and shortcutting and to improve safety in the neighbourhood.
They will be installed at:
- 4A Ave & 2nd St
- 4th Ave & 3rd St
Please slow down, watch for workers, and come to a full stop at all new stop signs.
