Some Cranbrook drivers planning to visit the local rec centre may need to find parking elsewhere this weekend.
Contractors will be on-site at the east parking lot of Western Financial Place on Friday, May 22, and Saturday, May 23, for new line painting.
The large parking lot will be fully closed on both days, with work being conducted in the evening.
“Please do not park any vehicles so crews can safely complete the work,” said the City of Cranbrook.
The north and south spaces are still open, as well as the parking lot just south of the Cranbrook Curling Club and north of New Dawn Place.
Work is also set to begin at the end of May to repaint road markings, including lane lines, crosswalks and yellow curbs across key parts of the city.
