Elk Valley Resources (EVR) marked the opening of its new office in Sparwood with a special celebration last Thursday.
EVR was joined by the Honourable Rob Morrison (MP, Columbia – Kootenay – Southern Rockies), Honourable Pete Davis (MLA, Kootenay–Rockies), Council Member Kyle Shottanana (Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡi’it First Nation), Mayor David Wilks (District of Sparwood), and other local dignitaries for the momentous occasion.
The office is a 121,500 square foot state-of-the-art facility with an open-concept design and meeting and collaboration areas to support teamwork and innovation.
Officials say the new office represents a significant investment in EVR’s regional long-term presence, supporting the company’s operations, workforce, and community engagement across the Elk Valley.
