Snowfall warning issued for Crowsnest Pass; up to 20 cm expected

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has issued a snowfall warning for Crowsnest Pass and areas further east into Alberta.

Rain is expected to transition to snow on Wednesday (Apr. 22) evening and continue overnight, with 15 to 20 centimetres forecast.

The agency warns visibility may be reduced at times, and travel conditions could change quickly.

Snowfall is expected to taper off on Thursday (Apr. 23).
