RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating 65-year-old Rodney Starke, who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for being unlawfully at large.
The RCMP said Starke was last seen on April 1 wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
Police say he is currently serving a 10-year long-term supervision order related to multiple convictions, including aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, identity theft, theft over $5,000, uttering forged documents, identity fraud with intent to obtain property, failing to comply with an undertaking, and breach of a long-term supervision order.
Starke is described as a 65-year-old Caucasian man, standing approximately six feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds, with a bald head and hazel eyes.
According to police, he may be in the Vancouver area or attempting to travel to Alberta.
Investigators say he is believed to have limited financial means and may seek help from members of the public.
Police are advising the public not to approach him.
Anyone who sees Starke or has information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact their local police department.
