Kootenay Christian Academy (KCA) welcomed 125 guests to its recent Gala, an elegant evening centered on community, connection, and the shared commitment to the students of KCA as they grow into Christ-followers and future leaders.
Organizers say the event raised a total of $47,000 in support of the school’s REVIVE campaign, funds that officials say will be reinvested into the hallways and classrooms of Kootenay Christian Academy to support students and educators.
While the evening served as a successful fundraiser, offcials say school leaders emphasized that REVIVE represents something much deeper than facility improvements.
“REVIVE is more than a campaign to refresh our school,” organizers shared, in a press release Friday. “It is a commitment to steward the resources God has entrusted to us and to provide for the needs of our students and educators as they grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually.”
According to organizers, the initiative also reflects KCA’s desire to be a blessing to the wider community by equipping students to reflect God’s character and love to their neighbours.
Officials suggest REVIVE represents a renewed mindset for the school community.
“It is a new perspective, a focus, and a way of walking with God that will continue long after the paint has dried.”
Kootenay Christian Academy expresses deep gratitude to everyone who made the evening possible, including attendees, volunteers, donors, partners, and those who supported the event through prayer.
Officials note, their collective support continues to strengthen the school’s mission of educating and equipping students to live with faith, purpose, and service.
