RCMP have now found the body of a Cranbrook man nearly a year after he was reported missing.
In September, Cranbrook Mounties were notified of human remains in the area of Hidden Valley Road, south of Cranbrook.
Forensics have since confirmed that the remains belong to 53-year-old Roland Gamache, who was last seen on November 1, 2024.
Police say foul play is not suspected in his death.
