There was a bit of a bump for real estate numbers in the Kootenays in April.
The Association of Interior Realtors, in its monthly release, said there were 1,282 residential units sold, up from the March total of 977.
Compared year-over-year, it was down one-tenths of a percentage point.
Listings on the MLS system, though, were up by over one-third region-wide when you compare last month to April of last year.
The Shuswap-Revelstoke area saw the largest rise at a little over 58 percent.
In all, just over 8800 homes advertised last month.
