Environment Canada issued a Special Weather Statement for Highway 3 for the Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass Sunday morning.
It’s forecasting the potential for flurries and possible accumulations of snow beginning Sunday night and into Monday.
A Pacific frontal system will bring in the moisture, but it should be out of our region by Monday night.
Similar warnings have also been put in place for the Highway 3 from Hope to Princeton via the Allison Pass, and Highway 5, the Coquihalla, from Hope to Merritt.
