The City of Cranbrook is lobbying Victoria to act on its Highway 95A Integrated Planning Study.
In a letter to Highways minister Rob Fleming and his housing counterpart, Ravi Kahlon, the City said the purpose of the study is to provide a clear path forward for much needed housing development and transportation safety improvements along the corridor.
Mayor Wayne Price is hoping it can be acted upon soon…
The study follows a 2023 report that looked at the housing needs of Cranbrook.
It called for over 1400 new single units to be built by 2031.
