Rocky Mountain Naturalists and the Fish & Wildlife Compensation Program are putting on Turtle Day later this month.
An afternoon of events is planned for the public for Tuesday, April 23 between 2:30 and 4:30pm at the Elizabeth Lake tourist information building and the new viewing platform.
For those wanting to come for 2:30, it’s recommended you arrive a few minutes beforehand as Aq’am chief Joe Pierre Jr. will be officially opening the event with a traditional ceremony.
