BC’s Minister of Finance is coming to Cranbrook.
Katrine Conroy will be attending a luncheon event hosted by the Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce next week.
Executive director Helen Barron says Conroy is sharing the 2023 BC budget with the Cranbrook business community and answering any questions or concerns.
“We’re incredibly excited to have a minister come out to the Kootenays and to reach out to the chamber to do an event,” Barron says. “Which we are also very excited to welcome not only our members but all businesses in Cranbrook to attend.”
Barron says any questions for the minister must be submitted online by Wednesday.
“We won’t be taking questions from the floor so we are welcoming people to please email us their questions in advance,” she says. “We are anticipating there will be quite a number of them, so we just want to have a chance to get them ahead of the date.”
Conroy’s visit is at the Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort March 24 at 11:30 am.
