
Columbia Valley RCMP are seeking witnesses to a hit and run in Invermere last week.
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Wednesday while crossing a controlled intersection at 7th Avenue and 4th Avenue.
The pedestrian was not seriously injured and was able to call RCMP and walk to a nearby clinic where they were transferred to hospital.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the local detachment.

On February 15th, Columbia Valley RCMP received a call from a pedestrian that was just struck by a motor vehicle while crossing a controlled intersection located at 7th ave. and 4th, Invermere.
The pedestrian was not seriously injured and was able to walk to the nearby clinic where they were checked by a doctor and sent to the hospital for X-rays.
This matter is still under investigation and would like anyone who might have witnessed the incident to contact the local Detachment.
