
Columbia Valley RCMP have taken a driver off the road after they were caught going nearly 100 kilometres over the speed limit.
BC Highway Patrol was conducting traffic enforcement in Kootenay National Park Wednesday, November 9th when they clocked a vehicle travelling at 168 kilometres an hour in a 70 kilometre an hour zone.
The vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days.
The driver is expected in court following the incident.
