Columbia Valley Search and Rescue has received a major donation from the Invermere Health Care Auxiliary Society.
The Society donated $7229.61 to the local SAR team.
The money will be used to help purchase new medical equipment, including Automated External Defibrillators.
SAR Medical Committee Chair Ryley Bennett says the new equipment will help increase their medical response capabilities.
Columbia Valley SAR is continuing their fundraising campaign to purchase essential equipment.
You can find out more about donating at the Columbia Valley SAR website.
