Columbia Valley Search and Rescue personnel received a few calls to action over August long weekend.
Early Saturday morning, crews helped RCMP to locate a missing person near Twin Lakes campsite, the subject was found in good health.

Early this morning, Columbia Valley Search and Rescue was tasked to assist RCMP in locating a missing person near Twin (Fish) Lakes campsite on Westside Road.
With the help of @glacierhelicoptersinvermere and mutual aid from @kimberley_sar teams searched the area. The person was located in good health.
On Sunday afternoon, crews were dispatched to Bugaboo Provincial Park for a technical mountain rescue.
A team of mountain specialists managed to find the subject in technical terrain, the person was brought to the care of BC Ambulance Service personnel.
