A special event road closure and parking lot closure is happening in Fernie for the Gravel Grind Bike Race Friday and Saturday.
The closure (marked in red on the map) will encompass the Station Square Parking Lot and 6th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue. These will be in effect from 6:00 am June 24th until 10:00 pm on June 25th.
Signage has been posted and anyone using the Station Square parking lot is asked to ensure they have moved their vehicles to avoid being ticketed and towed.
This City lot is often rented for special events and we appreciate the community’s cooperation with closures to make these great events run smoothly!
In addition, 1st avenue from 4th street to 6th street (marked in blue) will be closed on June 25th from 6:00 am – 11:00 am for a staging and starting point for the racers.
