Sherry Jackson is the owner and operator of Hot Shots Cafe in Cranbrook, and is proud to be a part of the growing food and coffee scene in the Kootenays.
Jackson says she often collaborates with other businesses to help with community fundraisers.
“We are always excited to collaborate with other local businesses on a fundraiser or supporting a local initiative, we donate gift cards or products to certain fundraisers,” Jackson says. “Just in the past year, we’ve collaborated with other businesses like the Paw Shop. We have an annual puppy pancake breakfast in that we raise money for a different animal rescue each year.”
She feels her passion for quality customer service is conveyed through the cafe’s inviting atmosphere and like-minded, friendly staff.
“We love being a part of the coffee and food scene in the Kootenays, and Cranbrook is becoming such a big part of the Kootenay food scene with all of us established restaurants and cafes plus all the new, innovative concepts opening up,” says Jackson. “When I travel through the Kootenays, I’m always excited to go to Fernie and eat and have coffee, and Nelson. I think Cranbrook is right up there.”
Hot Shots Cafe also supports other local businesses by featuring them through their various social media accounts.
