The City of Cranbrook says ongoing staffing challenges due to COVID-19 is prompting the closure of City Hall this afternoon.
Cranbrook City Hall will be closed to public access starting at 1:30, you’re asked to access city services via email and phone.
The public consultation period on the City’s five year financial plan through 2026 closes at 4:30 pm, you can provide comments and submissions via email or by using the drop box outside City Hall’s doors.

The City is still experiencing significant staffing challenges organization wide due to COVID-19 illnesses, as first announced on January 14, 2022 and we will be unable to staff the reception area of City Hall.
The public consultation period for the 2022 – 2026 Five Year Financial Plan is set to close at 4:30pm on Friday January 28. Any public comments and submissions can be provided by email at info@cranbrook.ca or can be dropped off in the drop box located outside the doors at City Hall.
