Kimberley RCMP have arrested a suspect for the arson at the Kimberley Gymnastics Club last month.
Police said in a release that a suspect was arrested January 13th for the December fire.
A 26-year-old man has been formally charged with one count of arson and has been in custody since his arrest.
He is expected to make an appearance Monday, January 17th at Cranbrook Provincial Court.
Police would like to thank Kimberley residents and the witnesses who came forward to assist with this investigation.
