This week’s flooding and mudslides events throughout areas of the province means some local sports teams have to tinker with their schedules.
The Cranbrook Bucks’ game Chilliwack Chiefs on Saturday has been postponed as travel from the Fraser Valley is not possible at this time.
The Bucks will face the Trail Smoke Eaters at Western Financial Place on Saturday instead.
Cranbrook’s game Sunday versus the Penticton Vees will still go as scheduled.

Elsewhere, the College of the Rockies men’s and women’s volleyball teams will not be able to make their trip to Vancouver Island this weekend.
Games versus Camosun College on Saturday and Vancouver Island University on Sunday have been postponed.

The KIJHL has also had to postpone or reschedule some of this weekend’s games, but none of these changes include any teams from the local Eddie Mountain Division.
