The Fernie Ghostriders have named Liam Breakenridge as its captain for the upcoming British Columbia Hockey Conference (BCHC) season.
The 20-year-old forward returns for his third season with the team, where he finished the 2025/26 Regular season with 19 goals, 12 assists and 31 total points.
In May, former Ghostriders captain Ben Skarsen announced his commitment to the Portage College Voyageurs in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference for this fall.
The team is still in preseason action and has a chance to continue their winning momentum as they take on Columbia Valley at Fernie Memorial Arena.
Puck drop is at 7 p.m. tonight.
