Yellow Watch – Severe Thunderstorm warning for East Kootenays including Cranbrook

Environment Canada has issued a Yellow Watch for severe Thunderstorm warnings across the East Kootenays.

Areas affected are East Kootenay – South, including Cranbrook,  East Kootenay North, including Invermere,  Elk Valley and Kootenay Lake.

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain.
