Fernie City crews are responding to a water main leak in the Annex.
Water service has been shut off to affected properties while repairs are underway.
Repairs are taking place in the 9th Avenue Lane near 9th Street.
Water service will be temporarily interrupted for residents backing onto the 9th Avenue Lane between 9th Street and 11th Street.
Water service is anticipated to be restored by approximately 6:00 p.m.
The City is delivering notices to affected residents this morning.
