Tourism Fernie is gearing up for visitor season with the launch of its new website, replacing the older platform that has served its customers over the past decade.
The website is the result of a 14-month project aimed at helping visitors plan their trips to Fernie more easily, featuring user-friendly navigation and visuals that showcase the area’s offerings.
“This new website represents an important step forward in how we connect with visitors and support our local area tourism industry,” said Jikke Gyorki, Executive Officer of Tourism Fernie. “We’re proud to deliver a site that reflects the energy and character of Fernie while making it easier for travelers to discover and plan their experiences.”
Work from local artist Michael Hepher can also be seen throughout the new site.
The website, made in partnership with Whistler-based MMGY Origin, is only one part of a broader rebrand for Tourism Fernie. The organization says that more refreshed materials, such as print and digital assets, will be featured in the coming weeks.
