The Cranbrook Community Forest is advising residents of upcoming helicopter activity.
BC Hydro will be carrying out infrastructure work in the community forest between March 23 and March 27, 2026.
The project involves replacing three structures of concern.
Due to their location, the Cranbrook Community Forest Society says helicopter access is the only safe and efficient way to complete the work.
The society says residents can expect increased activity in the area, including helicopter flights, crews and equipment.
For safety reasons, the public is being asked to avoid marked work zones during operations.
