Throughout the end of January 2026, Cranbrook RCMP say they responded to 383 calls for service.

Officers booked 30 individuals into cells, including six arrested on outstanding warrants, while seven others were remanded into custody after bail hearings.
The RCMP say proactive patrols and curfew checks resulted in three Immediate Roadside Prohibitions (IRPs) and two curfew breach charges being forwarded.
A search warrant execution led to the arrest of two individuals, who were remanded on multiple charges.
RCMP report they also participated in community initiatives, including the Books and Badges reading program at elementary schools, safety talks with middle school students, and fraud prevention conversations with seniors.
