Cranbrook city council is set to make a final decision tonight (Jan. 26) on proposed amendments that would allow a 252-unit housing development in the Wildstone area.
The project is planned in two phases, with two four-story buildings in each phase, each containing 63 units.
According to the city, a traffic impact study found that current access roads would continue to operate effectively even with the increase in residents.
However, the city is exploring options for a second road into the neighbourhood.
The council meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday (Jan. 26).
