The City of Kimberley will be hauling snow in several areas this week, with the goal of keeping streets accessible.
On Wednesday (Jan. 14), crews will begin at 4:30 a.m. on the 00 block of Wallinger Avenue and on Howard Street.
Roads in these areas will be closed to traffic, with detour signs in place to guide drivers.
Work will move to 4th Avenue between Tadanac Boulevard and Rossland Boulevard on Thursday (Jan. 15), and downtown Kimberley will be cleared on Friday, (Jan. 16).
The City asks residents to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and drive with caution in affected areas.
