With the holidays right around the corner, the City of Cranbrook has released its updated hours for municipal offices and facilities.
Residents are being encouraged to review the schedule in advance to plan visits accordingly.
City hall and municipal offices
City Hall, Engineering and Development Services, and Bylaw Administration offices will be closed Dec. 22–26.
They will reopen Dec. 29–31 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Offices will be closed Jan. 1, and will operate Jan. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Garbage and recycling collection
There will be no curbside pickup on Dec. 25, Dec. 26, or Jan. 1.
Western Financial Place administration office
The Western Financial Place office follows the same schedule as City Hall: closed Dec. 22–26, open Dec. 29–31 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Jan. 1, and open Jan. 2.
Aquatic centre
Dec. 22–23: 6:30 a.m.–8 p.m.
Dec. 24: 6:30 a.m.–3 p.m. (Public swim 10 a.m.–3 p.m.)
Dec. 25–26: Closed
Dec. 27–28: Noon–7 p.m.
Dec. 29–30: 6:30 a.m.–8 p.m.
Dec. 31: 6:30 a.m.–3 p.m. (Public swim 10 a.m.–3 p.m.)
Jan. 1: Closed
Jan. 2: 6:30 a.m.–8 p.m.
Arena walking concourse and public skate
Dec. 22–23: 6 a.m.–8 p.m.
Dec. 24: 6 a.m.–3 p.m. (Public skate 12:30–3 p.m.)
Dec. 25–26: Closed
Dec. 27–28: 6 a.m.–7 p.m.
Dec. 29–30: 6 a.m.–8 p.m.
Dec. 31: 6 a.m.–3 p.m. (Public skate 12:30–3 p.m.)
Jan. 1: Closed
Jan. 2: 6 a.m.–8 p.m.
A New Year’s Eve matchup between the Cranbrook Bucks and Trail Smoke Eaters is scheduled for Dec. 31 at 6 p.m. MT.

Dec. 24: 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
Dec. 25–28: Closed
Dec. 29: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Dec. 30: 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
