The Kimberley Dynamiters are hanging on in this week’s Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) Power Rankings after earning two points in a pair of close games.
Over the weekend, the Dynamiters lost 6–5 in a shootout to the Merritt Centennials, with Nolan Kelly scoring twice and finishing with four points.
They then fell 2–1 in overtime to the Beaver Valley Nitehawks, with Kelly scoring his 18th goal and Adam Kisilevich making 17 saves.
Revelstoke continues to lead the rankings after extending its winning streak to five games with victories over Spokane and Princeton. Kamloops also climbed the ladder after sweeping Castlegar and Grand Forks on a road trip.
Beaver Valley swept its East Kootenay swing with wins over Columbia Valley, Golden, and Kimberley, while the Kelowna Chiefs picked up two of three wins on their road trip.
