The Columbia Valley RCMP reportedly responded to 75 calls for service between Sept. 1 and 7, including reports of suspicious door-to-door activity and the misuse of a pellet gun.
On Sept. 5, police received a report that three men were going door to door in a local neighbourhood, claiming to represent Rogers and soliciting new business.
A homeowner contacted the company directly, and Rogers confirmed the three men were not employees.
Officers searched the neighbourhood but were unable to locate the suspects.
On Sept. 7, RCMP responded to a report that a vehicle had been struck by a pellet.
Officers located a nearby individual who admitted to using a pellet gun but said they were unaware the pellets were ricocheting.
RCMP say the person was given a warning and informed about safe handling practices.
The RCMP also issued a reminder about school bus safety as students return to school.
When a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop signs extended, vehicles in both directions are required to stop.
Officers warn that buses are equipped with cameras and that drivers who fail to stop will be fined.
