The Spirit of the Rockies Festival is set to return to Cranbrook from Thursday, June 19 through Sunday, June 22, offering four days of community-focused events and activities.
The festival kicks off Thursday with a pancake breakfast at Tamarack Centre, followed by a free family movie night at the Cranbrook Curling Rink.
One of Friday’s key events is the EKR Corral Annual BBQ, taking place at Royal LePage from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Proceeds from the BBQ will go to Friends of Children, a registered non-profit organization that provides support to families who must travel for their child’s medical care.
The organization aims to ease financial strain by covering costs such as transportation, accommodations, meals, and other essentials, helping families focus on their child’s health and well-being.
Saturday features the Spirit of the Rockies Parade, a popular tradition that aims to bring the community together in downtown Cranbrook.
