Community members came out to meet Kootenay–Rockies MLA Pete Davis on Tuesday, June 3, as he officially opened his new constituency office in Cranbrook.
The grand opening ran from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Unit #302 – 535 Victoria Avenue North.
Locals were invited to stop by, meet Davis and his staff, and share their thoughts or concerns.
After the event, Davis thanked everyone who came out and said the office is there to serve all residents in the region.
“This office is here for everyone in the Kootenay–Rockies—whether you voted for me or not. Our doors are open,” he said.
The office is intended to be a resource for anyone needing help with provincial services or wanting to connect with their elected representative.
Davis encouraged people to drop in, bring forward any issues, or invite him to events happening in their communities.
He also gave a shout-out to his team, Alisha and Kevin, who will be handling day-to-day operations and helping residents who come by.
Davis, who has been spending much of his time in Victoria since being elected, said the opening is an important step in staying connected with the people he represents.
Anyone looking to get in touch with the office can stop by during regular hours or reach out through official contact channels.
