Mounties in Cranbrook are looking for witnesses for a suspicious driving incident that led to a car going up in flames.
On May 12 at around 1:30 a.m., RCMP responded to a report about a blue 2009 4-door Mitsubishi Lancer driving extremely erratically in the Cranbrook area. The car cut off a driver, blew a tire and kept moving at high speeds.
The Lancer was eventually found on fire on a forest service road on Baker Mountain Road.
Anyone with CCTV or dash cam video of this car travelling along 2nd Street South and Baker Mountain Road is asked to call Cranbrook RCMP at 250-489-3471.
