The City of Cranbrook has rescinded its water quality advisory.
After being under this advisory since April 9, city officials say turbidity level tests finally show positive results in the Philips Reservoir (below 1 NTU).
In a release, the City says rising turbidity levels are common with surface water systems like the reservoir, as it can be caused by water run-offs from snow melts or heavy rain.
The City of Cranbrook and Interior Health thank residents for their patience and understanding during the advisory.
