As is tradition at this time of year, the City of Cranbrook is imposing weight load restrictions on all of its streets.
The idea is to prevent and minimize damage from thawing winter frost.
Beginning at 8 a.m. Monday morning, a 70 percent legal axle load restriction will be in effect.
For extraordinary loads, overload and oversize permits applications can still be made.
