Cranbrook Bucks goaltender Jaden Cholette has had his name added to the Interior Division’s All-Star team at the BCHL’s upcoming All-Star Weekend event January 17th and 18th in Salmon Arm.
The 18-year-old Ontario netminder has a goals-against-average of 2.55, a save percentage of .919, and a record of 11-6-1 so far this season.
Placed on the NHL’s Central Scouting ‘Players to Watch’ list back in October, he replaces former Brooks Bandits goalie Johnny Hicks, who has left the league.
Cholette, and teammate Kaslo Ferner, were already chosen to play in the Top Prospects Game being held on the same weekend.
Another member of the Herd, Bryce Sookro, was nominated earlier in the season to play in the All-Star Game.
