The fundraising numbers are in for last week’s 9th annual Hometown 4 Hunger event in Cranbrook.
Organizers say over $8,500 was raised in the three-hour event.

Much of the money raised for the day was through the dunk tank.
Leading the way was a $2,000 donation by High R Expectations to see Cranbrook Bucks vice-president and co-owner Breanne Lieuwen dropped into the ice cold water.
