If you grew up in the 70’s and 8o’s, Rock the Kootenays is for you.
The three-day event, now in its second year, kicked off Friday night at the Western Financial Place festival grounds in Cranbrook.
A total of 11 bands will be performing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
This year’s RTK was led by Vancouver-based Prism, who stepped in at literally the last minute, when Toronto, scheduled to open the show, had to cancel due to logistic reasons.
