Columbia Valley RCMP say four people have been arrested stemming from a break and enter in Invermere last week.
Police responded to the B&E in progress on the 1700 block of 7th Avenue on February 23, four people were located and arrested at the residence or while fleeing from the scene.
Two suspects were in possession of firearms and were held in custody.
RCMP say this was a targeted event, there is no risk to the general public.

On February 23 police responded to a Break and Enter in progress in the 1700 block of 7th Ave. Upon arrival four individuals were located and arrested in the residence or fleeing from the residence. Two of the suspects were found to be in possession of firearms and are currently in custody pending further court appearances. This was a targeted event and there is no further risk to the general public.
